Ride at Southern Illinois this weekend!
For anyone interested I am hopefully going to make a drive to S. IL to put the 5" bike to a real workout. I have been itching to get out and have some fun riding time in S. IL but the weather has been real hot and the race schedule real demanding. Now that I have a free week from racing and I am making a drive back to Murray to celebrate my niece's 4th b-day...I thought what better weekend to ride over some logs and huck off some rocks!!! Wheeeeee!!!
This weekend is going to be great! I just received an e-mail from long-time friend and riding buddy, Dynamite David Timmons. He is hosting a cookout Friday night with his Pops preparing the infamous blackened catfish. I believe I will be heading straight to the Timmon's residence to partake in some good eats and fire-side discussions with the Murray State cycling crew.

I know you are thinking of S.I. But in case you didn't get my email I sent out...we are having a group ride up the N/S Trail starting at 11:00 AM at Jenny Ridge. Would be a great pre-ride and awesome training for the BEC :)

Oh yeah, I forgot about that group ride. I will probably hook up with you guys on Sat then and go to Shawnee on Sunday. I just want to rip the Liquid on some rocks and drops.
