Crossing it up....
I really don't know what has gotten into me lately but this whole cyclo-cross thing has given me the itch to compete. I must say that I rearranged my weekend work schedule at the bike shop yesterday so I could attend another brutal cross race in Boulder. I must say this course was much more of cross style than last weekends mtn biker style course. We actually had pavement and where it wasn't pavement there was dust 4 inches deep in a dry as hell bmx style woopdy-do course. And I might mention that I am still coughing up crap out of my throat from breathing sooooo much dust yesterday. I guess that means I will just have to step it up a notch and lead that biotch so I won't have to be eating those other guy's dust. Haaa yeah right for now since I finished a respectable but not sufficient 16th yesterday. I will have to step it up although not bad for 41 riders being there and it being the second time on my cross bike. Check out the tough run-up in the pic below. Yeah that is me kickin up some dust!

Other good news that I have kinda kept under wraps is my recent interviews with USA cycling in CO Springs. Yep I just completed my second interview on Friday and I was down to the final 5 interviewees. Who knows I may be offered the job for Collegiate Cycling Manager for the the entire US, so I will be able to continue my passion of being an advocate of the sport in an especially close area to me. I will cut that discussion short since it is a big what if at this point.
Well got to go since I am currently trying to get out of work today so I can make it a back to back weekend of cross racing. Boy it is nice having these races this close to home.
